M

Head Mod

Hi, I'm M and I'm a fan of witch hat atelier and good food! I'm also a mod on the Wonder Egg Priority zine but I've worked on several large scale events in school as an organization manager as well.

Taro

Finances

My name is Taro and I've been a fan of the magic of Witch Hat Atelier for years. I'll do what I can to capture the magic of the series and make this zine happen!

Crimson

Formatting

Hello, this is Crimson! I draw and do graphic design, and I have a passion for making homemade sweets. I greatly enjoy the fascinating world and richly detailed art of Witch Hat Atelier. This will be the third zine that I'm doing formatting work on and I'm very excited to help showcase the fruition of the mod team and contributors in this cookbook!

Mari

Organization

I'm fairly new to Witch Hat Atelier, but I've fallen deep. I'm the organization mod in this zine and I'm looking forward to what everyone will be making! I'm currently modding BNHA.MP3, BNHABorne, and writing for Nomtendo!, Shaped Like a Friend, and Out of Tartarus. I look busy, but all of my projects are at different stages! .

Tiffany

Graphics

Hi! I'm the awkward potato constantly balancing work and real life with zines. When not doing any of these, I'm usually writing, gorging myself in food or snoozing under a pile of blankets. I also graphics.

Katha

Art

Hi, I'm Katha, a 22 year old visual game design student who really loves playing video games!

FAQπŸ–‹οΈWhat is a zine?
A β€œzine” is a fan-produced magazine, typically created in small, limited-run batches. They are found in a variety of forms including digital pdfs to physical booklets. Often times they are accompanied by fan-made merchandise. Zines are not official merchandise and have no affiliation to the creators of the source material the zine is based on.
πŸ–‹οΈWhat is Chef Hat Atelier's theme?
This zine will have a cafe-adjacent aesthetic with recipes based on the characters of the Witch Hat Atelier cast.
πŸ–‹οΈHow old do you have to be to apply?
You must be at least 18 by July 28 (as that is when work on the zine starts) to apply.
πŸ–‹οΈWhere will the funds go?
This zine is for profit, meaning that after production, all the funds will be split between the contributors and mods.
πŸ–‹οΈWill contributors receive the zine for free?
The goal is for all contributors to receive a full bundle (physical book and all physical merch) with shipping included. All contributors will receive a PDF of the zine.
πŸ–‹οΈHow will contributors be selected?
See our guidelines here.
πŸ–‹οΈWhat is the Schedule?

Physical and Digital. A5 with around 40-45 pages. Physical merch.

No. Only canon characters and settings are allowed.

πŸ–‹οΈWill you be giving application feedback?
We will not be able to offer feedback as we don’t want to overwork the mod team.
πŸ–‹οΈWill rejection emails be sent out as well as acceptance emails?
Yes. We believe everyone deserves a clear answer as to whether or not they are accepted.
πŸ–‹οΈDo creators keep ownership of their work?
Yes, of course! We only ask that contributors not post their work on any social media until after all sales have ended. The mod team will tell you the exact date you can post your piece.
πŸ–‹οΈIs traditional art okay?
Yes! So long as you’re able to provide a high-resolution scan of your artwork.
πŸ–‹οΈWhat type of recipes will be featured?
Any recipe that falls into what would be seen in a cafe. We’re letting the chefs interpret that as they desire. That being said, we do specify that each recipe will need to be based on a specific Witch Hat Atelier character.
πŸ–‹οΈWhat are artists expected to do?
Page artists will be expected to create 1 full illustration (with both the character and food from the recipe assigned to them in the same illustration) and 1 spot illustration.
